The Parisian Way!

List reasons to visit Paris? City of love, Effiel tower, Lourve-Mona Lisa, River Seine, Notre-Dame, Montmartre, Champs-Elysees, Macaroons, Champange, may be Galeries Lafayette or may be Gossip Girl inspired but it is everyone’s dream to visit.
Paris is a Metropolitan which has a lot to offer in terms of galleries loaded with paintings, historic museums, food, shopping, good walks around the city etc.
But on this trip I had only three days to explore all of this and I was so excited because I was with my love, my Husband. Earlier I had come with my friends and we decided on different things, where we covered Disneyland which we didn’t this time, which is definitely is recommended to everyone, any age!
Coming back to the trip in 2020, we were staying at Bercy Village, a locality bustling with hotels & eateries and easily connected with metro services which made our mobility easy.
Exploring Bercy!
The first day when we arrived it was around 17:00hrs, it was pouring, we decided to sit around in Bercy Village and explore the area where there was a main market which mainly had restaurants with a feel of a village, apparently it is a new built. You may find some of the things to do in Bercy here as well
Its Lourve o’Clock!
Second day had to be the day where we were visiting Lourve museum, we reached Lourve around 12:30pm and had already booked our time slot. It was fairly convenient to get in with a 10 minutes queue whereas on the other side (without ticket), the queue seem longer. So, a very important tip is to have your tickets pre-booked- use the link (https://www.louvre.fr/en/hours-admission-directions/admission)
Lourve can take upto 3-4 hours where you can see a variety of art displayed from around the world, so be prepared with good pair of walking shoes. After exploring all the views in Lourve we decided to move on to our next thing to do.
We had walked a bit now, therefore, we decided to sit down at one of the brasseries which we saw around in that area to get a feel of the cafe culture in Paris with some Champagne and ended our day.
Lets Walk Around!
Moving onto our last day, we had decided on the iconic Tour Eiffel (Eiffel Tower) and some walks around the city to observe how the local culture is and also to eat like the locals. I recommend you to go to the Trocadero for best views of Eiffel tower and some pictures, later if you wish to take a trip up & inside the Eiffel tower you can but that can be totally avoided as its pricey and lengthy(been earlier and can guarantee). So, this time we avoided that and instead took a walking route from Trocadero to Champs Elysees to Montmartre, on foot!
In between we took a small coffee break at the Laduree on the Champs Elysees and had a view of the Arc de Triomphe which is in the middle on a round about. We walked our way to Montmarte, another locality in Paris famous for eatries and art.
Macaroon at Laduree
Laduree being my macaroon favorite is a Parisian cafe serving meals and desserts (pictured). I have been here quite a times in London but this time decided to have a small tea break in Paris which was totally worth it. You may find some more info –
200 stairs up!
Being all fueled up, we reached Montmartre and found our way to the Sacre Coeur. It was 200 stairs up but worth the view, the building is just beautiful and one can observe the view for free. I do recommend one to go have a look at the beautiful architecture. Around Montmartre area you might have one of the best walks of your life, exploring route, the art, the cafe, the people, the food, the shops and much more along walking.
Later on that day, decided to go the Galeries Lafeyette for dinner. Galeries Lafeyette is a luxury shopping center with a beautiful roof which can be admired from the top floor and also you can exit and have a view of city for free(which I mentioned from Eiffel tower for a price).
The Notre Dame
By the River Seine, the cathedral is located, on the way you will find cute souvenir shops which can be tamed for a good deal if interested. The Cathedral entry comes for price which can be avoided.
Paris being a massive city, it is not possible to cover everything that is there but here I have jotted down few things one can think of doing which will not be a waste of time.
