Drury 188-189 cafe brought back some memories, when we had no Wifi and instead wanted to read books to gain knowledge and sip some coffee. One day I was casually walking around in Covent garden area of London and spotted this cafe which stole my gaze by the beautiful display they had in the window. My order was already decided because I had my eyes on the carrot cake and the moment I entered in I was welcomed by the beautiful smiles which made my day even better.
Located in the heart of Covent Garden its very easy to access. They have few more branches but this one is definitely the easiest for me to go.
Been listed as one of the best cafes in London they have a petit menu which is excellent to experience some perfections. I ordered a carrot cake with an iced latte which I am definitely missing while typing this post and my husband went for some brownie along with a cappuccino.
We had an amazing time looking at the beautiful display they had with books all over and some napkins where they had well-deserved comments written, done in the simplest form. Since I am a sucker for simple sober locations which are welcoming to one in their normal state without having to dress to impress, This is an amazing one.
Not to forget, I cannot agree more with their aim- “our aim was to do 3 things, smile, serve good coffee and serve good food with good/organic ingredients and be as sustainable as possible”. They stand out on all.
